The Steyaert family has been proudly farming for three generations for a total of over 60 years. Paul & Mary Anne moved to Canada from the Netherlands and worked in the Scotland community, a small village nestled between Brantford and Simcoe Ontario in Southwestern Ontario. This region of the province is known for its rich and fertile soils. After the birth of their first child, Linda, they purchased the Home Farm from the Kovacs family and a few years thereafter had their son, Walter.
Linda married her husband Brian and Brilin Farms Ltd. was born carrying on the family farming legacy. Their children Justin & Brittany grew up learning the value of hard work and helped to dig up ginseng roots for customers even during periods of thaw during the winter months! Walter & Angie's sons Christopher and Brett also have spent summers at the family farm helping to carry on the family legacy.
