Ginseng cultivated on our farm replicates the way wild ginseng is grown in the forest. Throughout those three to four years, we protect the plants from strong summer sunlight and harsh winter conditions. Straw is layered on the plant beds for protection of the plants. Beginning in the spring until fall, cloth shade structures are closed over the ginseng, simulating the natural forest environment that it grows in.
